Teaching is more than reciting knowledge; it’s about giving a part of you over to the students. It is about building bridges, it’s about inspiring, it’s about sharing and more than anything it is about giving. As a volunteer teaching in another country you are more than just the teacher of the subject, you are the person who says, “I care.”
Volunteers will primarily work as English and math instructors. Depending upon the need, volunteers may be asked to assist in other school extracurricular activities like sports or arts and crafts.
